Woodstra's Comments
“(Cal State) Stanislaus had a really good win on Saturday night against (Cal State) East Bay. They came back from two sets down to win the match. They have played much stronger in the second half of the conference schedule and I think it will be a real battle. They always play strong at home.” … “Chico State's outside hitters are good. They have a lot of youth on their team, but if we play the way I know we can then we will be right in the middle of that match. We need to be efficient, take care of the ball and serve effectively.” … “What we have seen throughout the season has been growth in different areas and by different people. We are young so it is not always there at the same time. We are not consistent with it yet. We need to be more consistent in applying the tactics that we work on in practice in the matches.” … “I was pleased with our serving in the Chico State match. Serving is what gets us into matches. If we would have had two or three more plays in each of those games we could have come away with a win.”
