ARCATA, Calif. - Humboldt State men's soccer will host a pair of quality California Collegiate Athletic Association foes as it completes its home schedule this weekend.
The Lumberjacks will face their third nationally-ranked opponent, No. 8 Cal Poly Pomona, on Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. HSU will finish the weekend with a 2 p.m. match against UC San Diego for 'Senior Day' Sunday.

SEVEN TO BE HONORED FOR 'SENIOR DAY'
Before Sunday's match, HSU will honor its seven senior players for 'Senior Day.' The Jacks' seniors include Kenji Murao, Quintin Aguilar, Austin Swartz, Andre Bernal, Ryan Connor and Javier Torres. HSU will also honor Michael Powell, a two-year member, who was unable to play this season.
AIM FOR MOST CCAA VICTORIES IN FOUR SEASONS
Over the first four CCAA weekends, the Jacks have four conference wins.
The CCAA win total ties HSU's last three full season totals – 2013 (4-11-1), 2011 (4-12) and 2010 (4-10-2).
With a win this weekend, HSU ties its most CCAA victories since the 2009 season (5-8-3).
FACE THIRD RANKED OPPONENT
For the third time this season, HSU will take the pitch against a nationally-ranked opponent. The Jacks will face No. 8 ranked Cal Poly Pomona on Friday afternoon.
HSU fell short against the two other ranked opponents (No. 3 Seattle Pacific and No. 17 Cal State Los Angeles).
WILKINSON BOOTS FIRST GOAL
As one of the team's corner and free kick specialists, Connor Wilkinson had been close to making several goals this season. The junior defender found the net last Sunday on a 22-yard free kick for HSU's lone goal at Cal State Los Angeles.
On the season, Wilkinson leads HSU with four assists and rates fourth in points (6).
