ARCATA - After hours and hours of practice spent running around and working out daily at the Redwood Bowl, Humboldt State's track and field teams begin the 2014 schedule on Saturday by hosting the annual Green and Gold Open.

The annual event will see the Lumberjacks' teams split into a Green and a Gold team to compete against themselves as well as unattached members of the area community.

The Jacks 2014 teams consist of 39 men and 36 women to compete in the home open event.

The following is the Green & Gold Open Schedule:

Javelin	Triple Jump     10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

1600-meter run	Women followed by men
100-meter Hurdles	Women
110-meter High Hurdles	Men
600-meter run	Women followed by men
1500-meter Steeplechase	Women followed by men
100-meter run	Women followed by men
400-meter run	Women followed by men
3200-meter run	Women followed by men
400-meter Hurdles	Women followed by men
200-meter run	Women followed by men
Log relay	Women and men
