SECOND QUARTER:  A Madison Collins' made free throw gave the Lumberjacks an 18-14 lead two minutes into the second quarter.  The 'Jacks went on a 10-2 run capped by a three by Gabrielle Carbajal to increase their lead to 28-16.  Cal Poly Pomona's Ayah League cut the 'Jack lead to 35-25 with a made lay-up as the buzzer sounded heading into the half.

THIRD QUARTER:  A jumper by Alexia Thrower increased the visitors' lead to 43-27 just three minutes into the third ten-minute period.  Cal Poly Pomona would not go away as the hosts went on a 9-2 run to cut the deficit to 45-36.  The Broncos kept their run going as two made free throws cut HSU's lead to 50-46 with just 14 seconds left in the quarter. A. jumper by Molly Dixon gave the visitors a 52-46 lead heading into the final quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER:  Another jumper by Alexia Thrower off a pass from Gabrielle Carbajal as HSU took a 59-50 lead with 7:48 left in the game.  The Broncos went on a 7-0 run in the next two minutes to cut the 'Jack lead to 59-57.  In the next five minutes, HSU outscored the Broncos 11-6 keyed by a Madeline Hatch three to take a 70-63 lead with a little under two minutes left in regulation.  Once again, CPP came back and twice cut the HSU lead to two including 72-70 with four seconds on the clock.  A made free throw by Tyra Turner gave Humboldt State a 73-70 lead on its next possession.  Cal Poly Pomona had a chance to take tie the game but its three-point field goal attempt fell short as the Lumberjacks took the 73-70 CCAA road win.
