I hope to be coaching on the side or working with young athletes in some way. What is your favorite athletic memory? My favorite athletic memory is beating my high school rival's volleyball team at an away game. This win was so sweet because we had been down 2-0 wet wide and collectively we put our heads down and fought for every point bringing us back to a W. What do you most like about Humboldt State and the community? My favorite thing about Humboldt State would have to be the location. You just can't beat walking into the forest right behind the dorms and then making a 15-minute drive to a beautiful ocean all within the hour. The natural adventures have already created amazing memories and an amazing college experience. What is your favorite childhood memory? Going to Bodega Bay with my family every year! I enjoyed so much quality time with them and we have a blast every year. Michelle Obama, because I look up the way she cares about people and she seems like she would be very down to Earth. I would love to visit Malta, a country in Europe. My grandpa grew up there and I would love to see the places he has been. If you had a million dollars, what would be the first things you would do with it? Donate to a conservation charity of some sort, pay off college fees for my brother and myself, pay off my family's home, take a trip out of the country to do community service and assist with possible financial matters and finally I would invest in order to be able to donate and give back more if possible. What is your favorite thing about being on an athletic team? The team atmosphere is definitely something I thrive in. Getting to know my teammates, coaches and staff is something really special that I look forward to every year with new people. There is unmeasurable support and love that comes from these people. Mrs. Naranyan, my high school statistics teacher, is my absolute favorite. She cares about her students in and out of the classroom and recognizes there is more going on in her students' lives than what she is going within her classroom.
