SAN FRANCISCO, Calif..--- San Francisco State's late second half push keys the Gators' 77-69 win over the visiting Humboldt State Lumberjacks.
Leland Green scores 15 points all in the second half to lead the way for HSU.

FIRST HALF: San Francisco State (9-15, 6-12 CCAA) jumped out to a 13-2 lead in the first six minutes of the game on a Linton Acliese lay-up. A three by
Amari Green cut the Gator lead to 17-9 with 10:22 left in the half. The Gators increased their lead to 26-11 on another lay-up by Acliese. A made free throw by Ruben Parks Jr., cut the deficit to 29-19, but once against SFSU increased its lead to 35-22 with just two minutes left in the first stanza. A free throw by
Amari Green capped a 5-0 run by the 'Jacks as they cut the Gator lead to 35-27. A three by DJ Sylvester gave SFSU a 38-27 lead, but an
Amari Green cut the Gator lead to 38-29 heading into the second half.
SECOND HALF: Humboldt State (8-16, 4-15 CCAA) started the second half on a 7-0 run capped by a
Leland Green jumper to cut the deficit to 38-36. A jumper by
Arash Poorsina off a pass from
Isaiah Pope cut the Gator lead to just one (39-38). SFSU took a 44-38 lead with fourteen minutes left in the game, but once again HSU cut the lead to one (44-43) this time on a lay-yup by
Zachariah Christian off a pass from
Leland Green. Humboldt State tied the game at 54-54 with 7:41 on the clock on two free throws by Christian. SFSU went on a 12-2 run to take a 66-56 lead with 3:45 to go in the game. A three by
Leland Green off a pass from Pope made it 66-60 at the 2:27 mark, but SFSU took a 73-62 lead with 47 seconds left in regulation. An old-fashioned three-point play by
Leland Green made the final 77-69.
THREE IN DOUBLE DIGITS: Once again, HSU had multiple players score in double digits paced by
Leland Green's 15 points.
