QUOTES FROM THE COACH: "There were pockets of time where our defense was fairly solid, however, it is a 40 minute game," said head coach
Michelle Bento-Jackson. "In the second half we got into a little bit better of a flow offensively, however, we then gave up an easy bucket which really hurt us. I always tell the team that when we have a defensive breakdown the offense will capitalize and Western Washington did. We need to fully understand the importance of each and every possession and can not afford mental lapses in our defensive execution. Overall, we had too many careless turnovers and our offensive execution struggled."
"We faced a good Western Washington team and we will learn a ton from this game," added Bento-Jackson. "We are now challenged with a short turnaround and having the ability to refocus and come out much better tomorrow."
