ARCATA, Calif---  Humboldt State Lumberjacks trailed 44-35 heading into the final ten minutes and outscored their visitors 23-12 to surge past the SF State Gators 58-56.  The Lumberjacks held SF State to just 32% shooting from the field and forced 18 turnovers to key their win.  
Julia Iman paced HSU with a season high 21 points, going 10-for-20 from the field while grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out two assists, blocking two shots and recording four steals. 
 
FIRST QUARTER: A 
Julia Iman jumper gave the 'Jacks an early 11-5 lead to begin the game.  San Francisco State (3-3, 1-1 CCAA) finished the quarter on a 5-0 run to cut the 'Jack lead to 11-10 on a jumper by Joiene Armendariz.
 
SECOND QUARTER:  Two free throws by Taimane Lesa-Hardee's two made free throws gave the visitors a 12-11 to begin the second quarter.  HSU increased its lead to 18-14 on a 
Julia Iman jumper off a pass from 
Sharon Roldan with 3:13 left in the half.  A three by Ashley Hart cut the 'Jack lead to 18-17, but. An Iman free throw gave HSU a 19-17 lead heading into the locker room.
 
THIRD QUARTER:  SF State came out on fire in the third quarter as the Gators outscored their hosts 10-1 to take a 27-20 lead, three minutes into the third quarter.  Humboldt State (2-3, 1-0 CCAA) went on a 11-2 run of its own to cut the deficit to 31-29 on a 
Julia Iman lay-up with 4:11 left in the quarter.  The Gators finished the quarter outscoring the 'Jacks 13-6 to take a 44-35 lead in the final quarter.
 
FOURTH QUARTER:  The visitors took their largest lead, 46-35, on a jumper by Mya Blake to begin the last ten-minute quarter.  Humboldt State then went on a 19-4 run capped by a 
Sharon Roldan three off a pass from 
Madison Parry to take a 54-50 lead with just two minutes left in regulation.  The Gators cut the deficit to two with 23 seconds on the clock, but Parry's two made throws sealed the win for the 'Jacks as they took a 58-56 CCAA home victory.
 
WHAT A NIGHT:  Julia Iman scored a game high 21 points while dished out two assists, recorded four steals, blocked two shots and grabbed seven rebounds in 40 minutes this evening.  She went 10-for-20 from the field.
 
ANOTHER DOUBLE-DIGIT PERFORMANCE:  Madison Parry had 18 points for HSU with six rebounds.  She went five-for-11 from the field including one of two from three's and seven for ten from the line.  Parry grabbed six rebounds and dished out two assists.
 
DEFENSE: Humboldt State held the Gators to just 32.3% from the field including 36% from three-points.  The 'Jacks forced 18 turnovers including seven by steals with four coming rom 
Julia Iman.
 
UP NEXT: HSU will host Cal State Monterey Bay, who lost 49-40 at Sonoma State earlier this evening in Rohnert Park.
