ORINDA, Calif.--- Playing in their second straight match in as many days, the Humboldt State Lumberjacks recorded a 5-0 shutout over the hosts, Holy Names University Hawks. Two of Humboldt State's five goals came from 2020 CCAA Championship Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete,
Motoki Sato.
Both of Sato's goals were unassisted goals.
Edgar Castaneda scored a goal off a ball from
Thomas Augee and
Yushi Katu. HSU's fourth goal came off the foot of
Devin Hauenstein off a ball from
Daniel Adeyeye. The Lumberjacks made it 5-0 when Adeyeye connected on a ball from
Dylan Tovani.
Once again,
Adrian Gallardo and
Jacob Cotton each played a half in goal for the Lumberjacks. HSU will play four more matches this spring with those matches to be announced in April on
