ARCATA, Calif--- The visiting Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes outscored the Humboldt State Lumberjacks 13-5 in the first ten minutes of the game to key their 63-51 conference win over the 'Jacks this evening in a CCAA game at Lumberjack Arena.

FIRST QUARTER: The first half of the quarter was even with a jumper by Jaida Jackson tying the game at 5-5. The Coyotes went on an 8-0 run to end the quarter capped by two free throws by Mia Dufresne to take a 13-5 lead heading into the second quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER: Humboldt State cut the deficit to 52-45 on a three by

Ashley Peralta in the first three minutes of the quarter. The 'Yotes increased their lead to 57-45 with 4:51 left in the game. HSU cut the deficit to 59-51 on a jumper by
Julia Iman with 2:37 left in the game, but the closest that the 'Jacks could get as the 'Yotes took the 63-51 victory.
UP NEXT: HSU continues its two-game home stand on Saturday, January 15 at 5:30pm when the 'Jacks host Cal Poly Pomona. The Broncos lost 58-42 at Sonoma State this evening.
