SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.--- The Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes took advantage of three goals in the second half to overtake the Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks on Friday afternoon at Premier Field. Juan Perez had the Jacks lone goal of the match, while Christian Gonzalez, Edgar Gonzalez, Motoki Sato, Cole Falco and Edgar Castaneda all had shot attempts. Adrian Gallardo had four saves in goal while Sam Daitch had an additional save as a substitute.
Cal State San Bernardino outshot Humboldt 18-10, while also carrying an advantage in corner kicks, 5-0. The Jacks also out-fouled the Coyotes 17-12 while also picking up three yellow cards on the afternoon.
Humboldt (2-5-2, 1-3-3 CCAA) will finish up it's final regular season road match on Sunday, Oct. 16 against Cal State San Marcos (4-7-3, 2-3-2 CCAA) at 2pm in San Marcos, Calif.
