ARCATA, Calif.--- Cal Poly Humboldt Women's Rowing Team is ranked eighth in this week's 2022 Pocock/Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Poll that was release this afternoon. The Jacks are one of the four teams from the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) that are in this week's poll, Central Oklahoma is first while Western Washington is fourth, Seattle Pacific is sixth and Cal Poly Humboldt is eighth.
Humboldt began its 2022 spring season competing in two invitationals this weekend in the Sacramento State Invitational and the Aggie Invitational. The varsity 8+ was named the GNAC Women's Rowing Crew of the Week. The Jacks finished in first at the Aggie Invitational with a time of 7:13.3 while they were third at the Sacramento State Invitational with a time of 7:20.4.
The Jacks will return to the water on Saturday, March 26 at 8am when they host the Cal Poly Humboldt Invitational at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center.
