ARCATA, Calif.--- Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks' softball team will continue their 11-game road trip this Friday-Sunday, April 1-3 at the 19
th Annual Tournament of Champions in Turlock, Calif. The Jacks will face Western Washington, Hawai'i Pacific, Hawai'i Hilo, Azusa Pacific and No. 1 Concordia Irvine.
RECAP OF LAST WEEK: Humboldt (11-23, 6-18 CCAA) went 0-4 in its four-game series at Cal State Monterey Bay. The Jacks lost 9-4, 8-0 (5), 3-1 and 3-2 in the series to the Otters.
Micaela Harris,
Izzy Starr and
Alyssa Ramirez went a combined six-for-11 to lead the Jacks in game one. In the second game, three Jacks had one hit apiece in
Tessa Poirier,
Katelyn Dendas and
Megan Escobar. In Humboldt's 3-1 loss, Dendas had two hits and a run batted in while
Karen Di Dio pitched six innings, giving up three hits and two earned runs while striking out one.
Izzy Starr and
Julia Rivera each homered in the series finale for Humboldt.
Gaige Garcia pitched four innings, giving up four this and one earned run while striking out two. Di Dio pitched the final two innings, giving up four hits and a run.
UPDATE ON THE LUMBERJACKS' OFFENSE: The Jacks have a team batting average of .284 with four players hitting over .300 in
Micaela Harris (.418),
Izzy Starr (.354),
JoAna Mullins (.352) and
Vanessa Saltos (.312). Harris leads the team with her 38 runs scored, 46 hits, seven triples, .691 slugging percentage, .496 on-base percentage and 29 stolen bases. Starr has driven in a team leading 30 runs and has a team high eight doubles. Leading the way with her nine home runs is

LUMBERJACKS PITCHING STAFF IN REVIEW: Humboldt's team earned run average (ERA) is 6.72 with
Karen Di Dio leading the way with her team low 4.91 earned run average. She also leads the team with her six victories, 72.1 innings pitched and 41 strikeouts.
Gaige Garcia has three wins and
Vanessa Richie has one win this season. Di Dio leads Humboldt with her four complete games while Garcia and Richie each have two.
19TH ANNUAL TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS: Cal Poly Humboldt will be participating in the 19
th Annual Tournament of Champions this weekend, April 1-3, in Turlock, Calif. The tournament will take place at Pedretti Park and Stanislaus State. All five of Humboldt's game will take place at Pedretti Park. Humboldt will face Western Washington on Friday at 2pm and Hawai'i Pacific at 7pm, both games on Field #1. The Jacks will come back on Saturday to face Hawaii Hilo at 11:30am and Azusa Pacific at 4:30pm, on Field #3. Their final game will be on Sunday at 9am on Field #5 against No. 1 Concordia. AMONGST THE CCAA LEADERS: Cal Poly Humboldt is leading the CCAA in home runs and slugging percentage while they are tied for second in doubles and second in triples. The Jacks are fourth in stolen bases and fifth in runs, hits and on-base percentage. Five players in

Katelyn Dendas are in the top ten in several individual categories. Harris is tied for first in triples and leads the CCAA in stolen bases. She is second in on-base percentage and runs scored. Harris is also third in hits, fourth in slugging percentage and sixth in batting average. Starr is second in runs batted in, third in home runs, seventh in hits and ninth in doubles. Saltos leads the conference in home runs and fifth in runs batted in and sixth in slugging percentage. Mullins is seventh in runs batted in and tied for ninth in triples while Dendas is also tied for ninth in triples.

58 FOR 60: Micaela Harris is now 58-for-60 in stolen base attempts since 2020. She went 18 for 18 in 2020, 11 for 11 in 2021 and is 29 for 31 this season. For her career, Harris is 94 for 101 in stolen base attempts. The senior outfielder/catcher is fifth on the Lumberjacks' all-time list. She is third on the top ten career list at Humboldt.
TOC OPPONENTS: The Lumberjacks will face one opponent from the GNAC in Western Washington with their other four opponents at the TOC being from the PacWest in Hawaii Pacific, Hawaii Hilo, Azusa Pacific and No. 1 Concordia Irvine.
WESTERN WASHINGTON: Western Washington is 17-13 entering the TOC. The Vikings are led by Tatum Dow's .396 batting average, 23 runs scored and 40 hits. Sydney Brown has a 5-2 record with a team low 1.07 earned run average. Kira Doan has a 1.37 with a 6-4 record.
HAWAII PACIFIC: Entering their game at Concordia, the Hawaii Pacific Sharks are 14-17. Noel Saunders leads the way with her .340 batting average, 15 runs batted in and nine stolen bases. Taylor Thompson has a team earned run average of 2.14 with an 8-9 record and 80 strikeouts.
HAWAII HILO: Entering their game at Biola, the Vulcans of Hawaii Hilo are 11-13 overall. Angel Prewitt leads the team with her .375 batting average while Taisha Bratton has driven in a team high 18 runs. Alexis Lacy has a team low earned run average of 1.44 with a 4-5 record. Sara Bhatt has a team high six victories.
AZUSA PACIFIC: Azusa Pacific is 20-13 this season entering its four-game series with Chaminade. Olivia Smith leads the team with her .459 average, 45 hits, 27 runs scored and 18 stolen bases. Katie Korstrom as a team ow 1.88 earned run average with a 9-2 record and a team high 71 strikeouts.
CONCORDIA: The number one ranked Concordia Eagles are 32-0 entering their four-game serie with Hawaii Pacific. Megan Massa leads the team with her .461 batting average, 15 doubles, 47 hits and three triples. Missy Nemeth and Rylie Rohr each have hit a team high eight home runs. Cortney Koelmans has a team low 0.57 earned run average with a 7-0 record. Katilin Entrup has a 11-0 record with a team high 69 strikeouts.
