ARCATA, Calif.--- Cal Poly Humboldt women's rowing team, who is ranked No. 7 in the last CRCA National poll on April 6, will return to the water this Saturday, April 16 when the Jacks travel to Eugene, Ore., to participate in the Covered Bridge Regatta at Dexter Lake.
 
Among the teams competing this weekend at the Covered Bridge Regatta are the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, UC Davis, Lewis & Clark, Pacific University, UC Davis and Chico State.  The Jacks will be competing in the varsity eights, varsity fours and novice fours this weekend in Oregon. 
 
Humboldt is coming off a strong a performance at the Falcon Regatta this past Saturday, April 9 in Seattle, Wash.  The varsity eight posted victories over No. 5 Western Washington and No. 6 Seattle Pacific. 
 
The Falcon Regatta was the first competition for the Jacks against two of their Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponents. 
 
After Saturday's race, the Jacks will be off until they compete in the WIRA Championships in Sacramento, Calif., April 30-May 1.  This will be their last regular season competition prior to the GNAC Championships which are set for May 14, in Dexter Lakes, Ore.
