SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.--- The San Francisco State Gators took the final two games of this weekend's four-game series 8-7 (12) and 7-1 this afternoon Francisco. This was the Jacks' final road trip of the regular season. Humboldt will host No. 6. Cal State San Marcos in its final games of the regular season, April 29-30.
GAME ONE: Cal Poly Humboldt (13-36, 6-26 CCAA) took a 1-9 lead in its first at bat.
Micaela Harris had a lead-off single, stole second and scored on a double by
Hollee Travao. SF State came right back and scored two runs in its half of the first to take a 2-1 lead.
The Gators took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning. LeHua DeLeon had a lead-off triple and scored on a sacrifice bunt by Sydney Jenkins. Humboldt cut the deficit in half in the top of the fifth inning. Travao reached on a two-out error and scored on a single by
JoAna Mullins.
The Jacks tied the score at 3-3 in its half of the seventh.
Julia Rivera had a one-out pinch-hit double.
Anna Brondos pinch ran for Rivera and scored on a wild pitch to tie the game at 3-3. Humboldt took a 7-5 lead in the ninth. Brondos had a one-out double and went to third on a single by
Micaela Harris. Travao reached on a sacrifice bunt which Broncos scored on and Harris did too as the Gators had an error.
SF State tied the game on a two-out two-run home run by Jenkins in the bottom of the ninth. Humboldt took a 7-5 lead in its half of the twelfth. Travao had a lead-off single. With two outs,
Vanessa Saltos walked.
Alyssa Ramirez walked to load the bases. Both Travao and Saltos scored on a two-run single by
Megan Escobar to give Humboldt a 7-5 lead.
SF State won the game with a. three-run twelfth capped by when Kai Delton reached on an error which Gonzales scored the game-winning run.
JACK STARS: JoAna Mullins went three-for-six with a run batted in. Michaela Harris and
Hollee Travao each had two hits and scored twice while Travao had two runs batted in.
GAME TWO; The Gators took a 1-9 lead in its half of the first. They increased their lead to 2-0 with a run in the third. Humboldt cut the lead in half in the top of the fourth.
Vanessa Saltos had a lead-off single and scored on a two-out single by
Megan Escobar.
SF State increased its lead to 3-1 in the fifth and broke the game open with a four-run sixth to take a 7-1 lead.

UP NEXT: The Jacks will return home next week for the final time this regular season. Humboldt will host No. 6 Cal State San Marcos in a four-game series April 29-30. Friday's doubleheader is scheduled to start at 1pm with it being Dam Worth It Day out at Humboldt Softball Field. The Jacks will be spreading awareness about Mental Health. Saturday's doubleheader has a scheduled starting time of 11am. Prior to the game, Humboldt will recognize its four seniors in
