ARCATA, Calif.---- The Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks finished their two-match road trip this afternoon with a scoreless draw against Dominican in San Rafael. The Jacks outshot the Penguins 7-0 in shot on goal attempts.

FIRST HALF: The Lumberjacks had their first chance for the lead in the ninth minute when
Maya Davis' shot on goal attempt was snared by Angelia Hert. Davis had another shot on goal attempt in the 14
th minute when Hert made another save. With just a minute left in the half,
Julia Humphreys' attempt was stopped as the match went into the second half scoreless.
SECOND HALF: Cal Poly Humboldt (0-1-1) had two chances for the lead be stopped by Hert in the 53
rd minute. The first one off the foot of
Kylea Becker and the second off the foot of
Emilie Wallin. Hert made another save in the 70
th minute off the foot of
Grace Johnson. Five minutes later,
Alexis Blue saw her chance to be the hero be stopped by Hert. The Jacks had a final attempt sail high by
Megan Janikowski in the final minute as the match ended in a scoreless draw.
DEFENSE: Humboldt held the Penguins without a shot on goal attempt in 90 minutes. The Jacks held a 13-6 shot attempt advantage including a 7-0 advantage in shot on goal attempts.
SEVEN: The Jacks had seven shots on goal attempts this afternoon with two coming from
Maya Davis.
