Humboldt drops fifth straight, closes out season on road next weekend

ARCATA, Calif.--- The Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks dropped their fifth consecutive contest on Saturday evening as the team fell 71-53 to the visiting Cal Poly Pomona Broncos in the final home game of the season at Lumberjack Arena. Devon Lewis had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds while Madison Parry scored 12 points and nine rebounds to lead the North Coast squad, who drop to 9-15 overall and 7-13 in CCAA play. The Broncos improve to 15-9 and 12-8 in conference play while also clinching a spot in the upcoming CCAA tournament in Turlock, Calif.
