ARCATA, Calif. -- Cal Poly Humboldt head men's basketball coach Chris Tifft announced on Monday the signing of Jordahn Johnson.
"We were extremely fortunate to sign a player of Jordahn's caliber late in the recruiting cycle," said Tifft. "Jordahn had a terrific year last year at Las Positas College, where he averaged a double-double in points and rebounds. His ability to rebound will be a big key for us this year, and his size and strength will help us play with toughness and physicality."
Johnson is a 6'8" forward and comes to Cal Poly Humboldt from Las Positas College. In his two seasons (2021-22, 2022-23) at Las Positas, he averaged 17.2 points per game and 11.3 rebounds per game. Johnson's highlighted career at Las Positas features a 2x First Team All-Conference nod, 2021-22 Freshman Player of the Year, 2x All-State selection, and a 2x National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-American.
