Monmouth, Ore. – The Cal Poly Humboldt women's basketball team closed out the 2024 season with a hard-fought 62-52 loss to Western Oregon on Saturday afternoon at the Physical Education Building. The Lumberjacks finished the year with a 3-7 overall record, including 2-2 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play, while the Wolves improved to 5-5 overall and 1-1 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC).

Humboldt showcased resilience throughout the game, but a strong fourth-quarter performance from Western Oregon proved decisive. Despite trailing by just two points heading into the final period, the Wolves outscored the Lumberjacks 22-14 to seal the victory.
