POMONA, Calif. -- Cal Poly Humboldt finished their SoCal road trip on Saturday evening from Kellogg Arena in Pomona. Taking on the Broncos for the second time this season, the 'Jacks aimed to come away with another win under their belt. Sara Ahmadpour led the way with 12 points and eight rebounds.

A slow start offensively in the first half for both teams saw a halftime score of just 26-19, advantage Pomona. The 'Jacks came out and shot 38 percent from the field and 60 percent from three-point range in the third quarter. Humboldt held a 36-34 lead going into the final 10 minutes of play. The Broncos responded with 47 percent shooting in the fourth quarter and pulled away down the stretch, outscoring Humboldt 18-10 in the final 10 minutes of play.
