ARCATA, Calif. – The Cal Poly Humboldt men's soccer team is set to wrap up the 2025 regular season on the road this Thursday, Nov. 6, with a doubleheader at Chico State. The Jacks will kick off first at 11:30 a.m. PT at University Soccer Stadium.
LAST TIME OUT
The men (2-11-3, 0-7-2 CCAA) battled to an exciting 3-3 draw against Cal State Monterey Bay in their home finale. Cooper Stephens and Robert Somerville each scored early before Shota Lam delivered a stunning last-minute free-kick equalizer to secure the result. Humboldt showed resilience throughout, outshooting the Otters 18-15 and displaying the attacking potential that has carried them through a competitive conference slate.
WILDCATS AWAIT
Chico State (4-7-4, 2-4-3 CCAA) has proven difficult to break down, combining a disciplined back line with a fast-paced counterattack. The Lumberjacks will aim to finish strong, building on the confidence gained from their thrilling draw last weekend.
