SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt volleyball wrapped up its final road weekend of the season on Saturday night, falling in straight sets to (RV) Cal State San Bernardino (15-25, 18-25, 19-25) inside Coussoulis Arena.
Graysen Trupp and Rahni Greene each recorded seven kills to lead the Humboldt attack, while freshman Isabella Hartwig added six kills and a block. Trupp also chipped in two service aces and five digs. Setter Brielle Wilson dished out 24 assists to go along with four digs and an ace, while libero Sophia Spoja anchored the defense with a team-high 11 digs.
The Jacks battled in the second set behind a .276 hitting percentage, sparked by strong net play from Greene and Hartwig. However, the Coyotes' offensive efficiency—hitting .339 overall—proved too much to overcome, led by 20 kills from Kacie Pedersen.
With the loss, Cal Poly Humboldt moves to 2-22 overall and 2-14 in CCAA play, while CSUSB improves to 18-5 and 13-3 in conference action.
The Lumberjacks now return home to wrap up the 2025 campaign inside Lumberjack Arena next week. Humboldt will host San Francisco State on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. before celebrating Senior Day against Cal State East Bay on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
