ARCATA, Calif. – The Cal Poly Humboldt women's volleyball team will open its 2025 CCAA schedule on Thursday, Sept. 18, hosting (RV) Cal State Los Angeles at 7 p.m. PT at Lumberjack Arena. The matchup also marks Lumberjack Night, and fans are encouraged to wear flannels, green, and gold to show their spirit.
LAST TIME OUT
The Lumberjacks (0-8, 0-0 CCAA) wrapped up the 2025 Redwood Coast Volleyball Classic at home, facing four tough opponents. Despite the results, Humboldt showcased strong individual performances, with Addison Bookstaber and Rahni Greene earning All-Tournament honors, while Brielle Wilson and Tatyana Jennings received honorable mentions. The team looks to carry the lessons and confidence from the tournament into its first conference contest.
GOING AFTER THE GOLDEN EAGLES
Cal State Los Angeles (4-3, 0-0 CCAA) travels to Arcata for its first CCAA matchup of the season. In their two meetings last season, the Jacks' won one and lost one, where Humboldt squeaked out a last set victory at home.
Humboldt will rely on its returning leaders and the depth of its roster to compete against the Golden Eagles in front of a spirited Lumberjack Night crowd. The Lumberjacks aim to combine experience and energy on both sides of the net to secure their first conference victory.
