2012 - Started 12 matches at midfield ... netted lone goal agasint Cal State San Bernardino to tie the contest late ... booted two shots on goal.

2011: Appeared in 14 games as a reserve ... took five shots.

2010: Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity soccer at Arcata High ... earned All-Humboldt Del Norte League honors as a junior and senior and honorable mention as a freshman ... voted team Most Valuable Player final season ... also lettered in track and field.

PERSONAL: Born May 21, 1992, in Fortuna, Calif. ... parents are Mary Jean Wachter and Bruce McCarthy ... majoring in wildlife biology ... enjoys backpacking, reading and hiking ... played club soccer for FC Samoa.
