Biography

HUMBOLDT (2024): Named to the 2024 Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-West Region Second Team...All-CCAA First Team...Started 13 of 15 matches in 2024, totaling 883 minutes...Ranked seventh in conference, and first on her team with seven goals...Third in the CCAA with four game winning goals, and leading the team with 17 shots on goal....Totaled 16 points, placing her 5th in the CCAA, and first on her team...Duran helped the Lumberjacks clinch a postseason berth for the third straight season, after winning 2-0 against Sonoma State (11/7)...Had a season high against Chico State (10/20) scoring two goals, and earning four points...(2023): Named All-CCAA Honorable Mention...Started 17 of 20 matches in 2023, totaling 1054 minutes...Ranked sixth in the CCAA with seven goals on the year and 18 points...Tied for first in conference with four game-winning goals, third in conference with 47 shots, tenth in conference with four assists...Recorded 17 shots on goal, and four assists...Duran sent the Lumberjacks to the CCAA Semifinals, for the first time in program history, with her game-winning goal against Stanislaus State (11/5)...(2022): Awarded a CCAA Honorable Mention. Duran Arellano played in 15 matches this year and started in 10 of them. She led the team with 10 points tied for the team lead with three goals and four assists. Her four assists tied her for the fifth most in conference. Also a recipient of the Women’s Soccer Newcomer Award.

PRIOR TO HUMBOLDT:  Graduated from Southwest Senior High School in San Diego, Calif...She was a member of the West Coast Club Team who captured the DP League U-17 championship last year....Arellano also was part of the USL Academy U-17 championship team...Attended the Mexican National Team Camp from 2018 to 2020....Principal Honor Roll in 2021 and 2022. 

PERSONAL: Majoring in Kinesiology...Daughter of Enrique and Claudia Duran, sister of Montserrat, Valeria and Ximena...Plays club soccer for West Coast FC...Born in Mexico.
