COACH'S CORNER
On Cal State East Bay
"They are a pretty good basketball team, and they are coached well," said Head Coach
Steve Kinder. "They are a good perimeter shooting team, but have great balance with interior shooting as well. Cal State East Bay is the real deal."
On expectations for team following break
"We had a difficult stretch, in terms of our schedule, that the conference dealt us before the break," said Kinder. "We survived it, but our next mountain to climb is this weekend."
On the Jacks' height disadvantage
"I was hoping Santa Claus would give us a dosage of height in our stockings, but that didn't happen," said Kinder. "Defensively we are trying to manage our height deficit, and we will still go to battle with our undersized roster."
