Calvin Young II led the Jacks with 17 points and was 8-of-8 shooting from the field.
San Marcos has won four straight and topped Cal Poly Pomona 88-76 Thursday in The Sports Center. The Cougars are averaging 79.1 points per game and rank third in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in scoring offense. Transfer Josh Spiers is averaging 12.2 points per game and had a season-high 30 points against the Broncos.

COACHES CORNER
On Cal State San Marcos
"We have another tough team in front of us this weekend," said Head Coach
Steve Kinder. "Beating San Marcos in Arcata earlier this season was a nice conference victory for us and will give us confidence preparing for this game. They have a talented roster and are playing well at the moment. Playing them on their home court won't be an easy task."
On the Road Trip
"We are in the midst of a marathon road trip and want to come home with some success by playing well against Cal State San Marcos," said Kinder. "Similar to any road trip, the college basketball season is a marathon. We need to stay on our feet and continue to improve as a basketball team."
