MEDFORD, Ore.--- In their third match of the Spring season, the Humboldt State Lumberjacks fell 4-1 to the Western Oregon University Wolves in an exhibition match in Medford, Ore. Humboldt State was just out-shot by three shot attempts (16-13) this afternoon at the US Cellular Community Park.
Kendal Spencer scored the Lumberjacks' goal on a penalty kick.
"It was a tough result but we played brilliant soccer today at times, some of the best of this spring season," said head coach
Grant Landy. "Our build up play was excellent, we just need to be more aggressive and clinical in the final third. All in all, I thought it was a good step for us moving forward."
