STOCKTON, Mo.--- Farrah Tyler finished 19th individually as the Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks finished fourth of five teams in the Division II category at the West Region National Qualifier this morning.

This was Tyler's third consecutive race leading the Jacks, as she traversed the 750 meter swim, 20k bike and 5k run in a total time of 1:13:18. Emilie Cates and Elizabeth Odell also competed for the Jacks, but were unfortunately unable to complete the course because they were lapped out.

Both Division I and Division II institutions competed in the same wave of competition this morning. Five time national champion Arizona State claimed the overall title, with the Sundevils' Heidi Jurankova taking home individual honors in a total time of 1:01:14. Megan Bucananan of Colorado Mesa was the top Division II finisher with a time of 1:03:30. Her individual win helped the Mavericks finish as the top Division II program on the day.Â

Humboldt will finish off their first competitive season in school history at the Women's Collegiate National Triathlon Championships in Tempe, Ariz. on Saturday, Nov. 12.
