QUOTES FROM THE COACH:
"We will be competing with some very good athletes this weekend from many Division I programs," said head coach Sarah Ingram.  " The weather forecast this weekend is not looking promising. Given the expected poor weather conditions and the elite level of competition, we will approach this meet as another chance to show up and prove that we deserve to be there by bringing our best efforts and fighting to compete for every place, every second and every inch that we can. I always have loved John Wooden's definition of success as "a peace of mind in knowing you are doing everything you can to become the best of which you are capable." If we can leave our hearts blood sweat and tears out on the track/field and really give all that we are capable of, we will find success, and satisfaction in the process, and really what more can you ask for than that. "

THIS WEEK: Humboldt will travel up north to Corvallis, Ore., this Saturday to participate in the Oregon State Pacific Northwest Invitational.  The invitational will begin at 10am on Saturday with the field events and with the running events to commence at 1pm. Some of the other teams to compete in this meet will be University of Oregon, Oregon State, Seattle University, College of Idaho, Western Oregon, Linfield, and George Fox University.

UP NEXT:  Cal Poly Humboldt will return home to host the Humboldt Invitational on March 26 at Redwood Bowl on Saturday, March 26.
