EUREKA, Calif.---  Cal Poly Humboldt women's rowing team hosted their annual regatta this morning at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center in Eureka, California.  The varsity 4+ B team captured first to lead the way for the Jacks this morning. 
 
"It was a great having our alumni back to the boathouse," said head coach Matt Weise.  "They helped our team row with great energy.  Thank you to Menlo College, Chico State and Cal Maritime for the trip north.  It was a beautiful morning with excellent conditions and great racing.  The Jack rowers were aggressive and strong on the race course and I am looking to seeing how much speed they will build in April."
 
UP NEXT:  The eighth ranked Lumberjacks return to the water on April 9 when they take on Seattle Pacific and Western Washington in Seattle, Wash.
