DEXTER, Ore.--- The sixth-ranked Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks finished in fourth place with 15 points at the 2022 Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Women's Rowing Championships this afternoon at Dexter Lake in Dexter, Ore.  The fifth ranked Western Washington Vikings won this year's conference title with 26 points. 
 
"We had a great season, but not a great finish," said Cal Poly Humboldt head coach Matt Weise.  "I am proud of how this team raced all season.  They set up the groundwork for future success."
 
Leading the way for the Jacks was the novice four with a time of 8:22.940.  The Jacks finished in third place.  Capturing the novice four was Central Oklahoma (8:08.290) followed by Seattle Pacific (8:20.080), Cal Poly Humboldt  (8:22.940) and Western Washington (8:28.310).
 
Humboldt's varsity four who was ranked third in the last NCAA Division II West Region Poll finished fourth in its race.  Central Oklahoma captured the fours with a time of 7:54.954 followed by Seattle Pacific (8:05.965) and Cal Poly Humboldt (8:15.332). 
 
The Jacks' varsity eight who also was third in the last NCAA Division II West Region Poll had a fourth- place time of 7:18.440.  Capturing the eights was Western Washington (7:03.430) followed by Seattle Pacific (7:04.320), Central Oklahoma (7:06.00) and Humboldt (7:18.440).
 
Cal Poly Humboldt will now wait until this Monday, May 16 at 5pm (ET) when the field for the 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Championships will be announced on ncaa.com.
