ARCATA, Calif.--- In the second 2022 NCAA Division II West Regional Women's Rowing Rankings of the season, the Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks are third in the team, varsity eight and varsity four rankings. Central Oklahoma holds the top spot in all three rankings. In this week's Pocock/CRCA Division II National Poll, the Jacks are fifth while Mercyhurst (PA) is first followed by Central Oklahoma, Embry Riddle, Western Washington and Cal Poly Humboldt.
The Jacks are coming off a strong showing at the 2022 WIRA Championships this Saturday at Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif. Humboldt's eight finished in second in the Grand Final. The eight consisted of

Dana Foley,
Katie Schwan,
Emily Marsolais,
Malia Seeley,
Asher Kolden,
Kierstyn Hughes. The Jacks finished just four seconds behind Western Washington and were five seconds ahead of Seattle Pacific.
Humboldt's four finished in third just four seconds behind Seattle Pacific and twelve seconds ahead of Western Washington. The four's line-up was

Cal Poly Humboldt is off until the GNAC Championships which are set for May 14 in Dexter, Oregon, at Dexter Lakes. The Jacks will face Central Oklahoma, Western Washington and Seattle Pacific in the GNAC's. This will be the last race prior to this year's NCAA Division II National Rowing Championships which are set for May 27-29 at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida.
The 2022 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Championships' field will be announced on Monday, May 16 at 5pm (ET) on ncaa.com.
