SPRINGFIELD, MO -- No. 7 ranked Cal Poly Humboldt traveled to Springfield, Missouri to compete in the NCAA Heartland Triathlon Cup (West Regional Championship) on Saturday morning. The team finished fourth among Division II opponents and 12th out 16 teams in total with 141 points. Freshman
Eve Wendley broke the tape as she led the team and won her heat with a time of 1:18:07.33.
Out of all triathletes across three divisions, Wendley placed 72nd overall. Sierra Erlandson finished second for Humboldt and 88th overall with a time of 1:22:30.92, followed by
Camille Shaver (1:23:26.08),
Elizabeth Odell (1:24:22.21), Alexa Blakely (1:25:03.01) and
Mariska Kessler (1:31:55.94).
