ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt men's wrestling will make the short trip south this Saturday, Nov. 1, to compete in the College of the Redwoods Duals in Eureka, Calif. Action begins at 10 a.m. at the CR Gymnasium. The event marks the Lumberjacks' second scheduled competition of the 2025–26 season. The first match will start at 10:00 am, second match is predicted to be at 11:30, and 1:00 for the 3rd match.
LAST TIME OUT
The Lumberjacks opened their campaign last weekend with their annual Black vs. Green Intrasquad at Lumberjack Arena, giving head coach Lennie Zalesky and his staff an early look at this year's roster. The internal matchup featured several close bouts and highlighted Humboldt's growing depth across multiple weight classes as Black outscored Green 17-15.
The Jacks now turn their attention to live competition against external opponents for the first time this season. The squad will look to continue developing its core while testing itself against a competitive field.
COLLEGE OF THE REDWOODS TOURNAMENT
Saturday's four-team meet will feature Cal Poly Humboldt alongside host College of the Redwoods, Sierra College, and Southwest Oregon Community College. The duals provide a valuable early-season opportunity for Humboldt wrestlers to gain live-match experience and measure progress against local competition.
Fans on the North Coast will have a rare chance to see collegiate wrestling up close, with several local standouts expected to compete in front of a home crowd.

Action begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday at College of the Redwoods in Eureka. Admission is open to the public and live updates will be available on Cal Poly Humboldt's social media channels.
UP NEXT
Following Saturday's meet, the Lumberjacks will continue their early-season slate with additional tournaments throughout November as they build toward the midseason dual schedule. Their next tournament will come on Nov. 9 in Forest Grove, Ore. at the Pacific Tournament.
