ARCATA, Calif. -- Cal Poly Humboldt head men's basketball coach DJ Broome announced on Monday the signing of 6'4" senior guard, Drew Ardouin.
"I'm really excited about the experience Drew brings to the program," said Broome. "He's a big time shooter and scorer that has had success in big games."
Ardouin joins the Lumberjacks after spending the 2024-25 season at the University of San Francisco, where he appeared in eight games off the bench and scored his first Division I basket against Chicago State.
Prior to USF, Ardouin was a standout at Cuesta College. As a sophomore in 2023-24, he averaged 20.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 43.4 percent from three and 88.0 percent from the free throw line. He earned CCCAA All-Western State Conference First Team honors and was named CCCMBA All-State Honorable Mention. He posted double figures in 24 of 28 games, including 15 outings with 20-plus points and three 30-point performances, highlighted by a 40-point effort in the season opener.
As a freshman in 2022-23, Ardouin averaged 18.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game, again earning All-Western State Conference First Team honors.
