ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Cal Poly Humboldt men's indoor track & field team produced multiple personal records and season-best performances Friday at the GVSU Big Meet inside the Kelly Family Sports Center.
FIELD EVENTS
Junior Paul Domingue delivered a strong showing in the triple jump, placing third with a mark of 13.83m. Fellow junior Joseph Gonzalez led Humboldt in the shot put, recording a throw of 16.01m (52-6.50).
TRACK EVENTS
Junior Bennett Feldenkirchen highlighted the track performances with a personal record in the invitational 400 meters, clocking 49.65 seconds.
Sophomore Ryan Giglio ran a season-best 1:54.20 in the 800m, while freshman Hunter Phillips followed closely in 1:54.38.
Freshman Cameron Bishop notched a season-best 22.32 in the 200m after opening his day with a 7.10 effort in the 60m preliminaries. Senior Alonzo Paul added a 22.69 in the 200m and ran 7.19 in the 60m prelims.
In the mile, sophomore Elias Wiggins posted a personal record of 4:22.53. Freshman Nicholas Woolery crossed in 4:22.97.
UP NEXT
Cal Poly Humboldt continues competition Saturday at the GVSU Big Meet. After the conclusion of the meet, the Lumberjacks will look towards outdoor season at home with the Green & Gold Open on Saturday, Feb. 28.
