ARCATA, Calif.--- Recent Humboldt State Lumberjack standout
Justin Everett has announced that he is continue his playing career professionally for the Cactus Tbilisi out of the Georgian Basketball League in the Republic of Georgia.
"This has been a goal for me to continue playing the game I love professionally," said Everett. "I am grateful that Cactus Tbilisi has given me the opportunity to continue my career for them. I would like to thank Coach (Steve) Kinder the coaching staff along with strength coach Drew Peterson for getting me to be where I am at my career. Also, I am grateful for all the support that I have received from my family and teammates along with the entire Humboldt State community. Finally, I am looking to forward to represent Humboldt State as a proud alum."
This past season, Everett led the 'Jacks with his 15.6 scoring and 6.6 rebounding average. The 2018-19 All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) First Team honoree shot 50% from the field and 76% from the charity stripe during his senior season. The Clovis, Calif., native was selected to the 2018-19 CCAA All-Academic Team. He graduated this past May with a major in Business Marketing and a minor in Economics.
