ARCATA, Calif--- Humboldt State will return home to Lumberjack Arena for a pair of CCAA matches against national powerhouses Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino. The Lumberjacks will host No. 21 Cal Poly Pomona this Thursday, October 21 at 5pm and No. 23 Cal State San Bernardino on Saturday, October 23 at 7pm. Thursday's match with the Broncos will be the Lumberjacks' Dam Worth It Match to bring awareness for mental health. Then on Saturday, it will be Humboldt State's Dig Pink Match in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

On Saturday in Rohnert Park, HSU fell in three sets (16-25, 21-25, 11-25) to Sonoma State with McLaughlin leading the way with seven kills while

DOUBLE-DOUBLE: Lenox Loving has recorded four double-doubles this season with a season high 23 kills against Academy of Art on Sept. 11.
Riley White has recorded one double-double in HSU's win at Cal State Dominguez Hills with a 16-assist, 13-dig performance.

CCAA LEADERS: The trio of

Lindsey McLaughlin are in the top ten in the CCAA in blocks and digs. Cantrell is seventh and McLaughlin is eighth in blocks while Crespo is seventh in digs.

CAL POLY POMONA: The Broncos, who are No. 21 in the AVCA/NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll that was released last Monday, October 11, are 14-3 overall and 7-3 in the CCAA. Daisy Duke leads the way for the Broncos with her 180 kills and 37 blocks while Jazmin Parnish has 178 kills. Bryna Sherbot has a team high 243 digs and Kira Zimmerman lead the team with her 513 assists and 34 service aces. Tied for the team lead in total blocks is Ruki Kennedy and Kaitlan Tucker each with 35.
Cal Poly Pomona leads the all-time series with the 'Jacks 20-4 including winning the last meeting in four in 2019 in Arcata. The HSU win was in 2016 in Arcata when the 'Jacks won in three.
CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO: The Coyotes, who are No. 11 in last week's AVCA/NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll, are 15-3 overall and 10-0 in the CCAA. They captured the 2019 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championship. Alexis Cardoza leads the way for the Coyotes with her 258 kills while Asia Clarke has 200 digs and Marlee Nunley has 729 assists. Leading the way with her 72 blocks is Jalyn Hayes while Leilia To'omalatai has a team high 26 service aces.
CSUSB leads the all-time series with the 'Jacks 22-1 including winning in three in 2019 in Arcata. The only 'Jack win over CSUSB was in 2014 a four-set win in 2014.
UP NEXT: After this weekend, HSU will return to the road for a four-match road trip. The 'Jacks will be in Seaside on October 29 at 5pm for a match with Cal State Monterey Bay. They will travel to San Francisco on Friday, October 30 for a 7pm match with SF State.
