ARCATA, Calif--- Humboldt State's volleyball team will end its four-match road trip this weekend with a pair of conference matches in the Valley. The 'Jacks will be in Chico this Friday, November 5 for a 5pm match-up with Chico State. They will conclude their road trip with a 5pm match-up with Stanislaus State in Turlock this Saturday, November 6.

Kelly Wood. Coach Wood is assisted by
Paul Castillo who is in his third season on Coach Wood's staff.
RECAP OF THIS PAST WEEKEND: Humboldt State started its four-match road trip with a three-set loss at Cal State Monterey Bay (26-24, 25-18, 25-20) on Friday.
Hannah Cantrell paced HSU with her 12 kills and three total blocks.
Lindsey McLaughlin added nine kills and
Carla Crespo had 10 digs.
Riley Tishlarich and
Nicole Yakushenok had a combined 28 assists. HSU lost in three-sets at SF State on Saturday (25-10, 25-12, 25-16) with Cantrell leading the way with eight kills. Yakushenok added 10 assists and
Gianna Giacomotto had two service aces.
CANTRELL: HSU senior
Hannah Cantrell had 20 kills and hit for .457 in the Lumberjacks' two matches in the Bay Area. She also had four total blocks, two service aces and one dig for the 'Jacks. She started the weekend with 12 kills and three total blocks against the Otters. The middle blocker finished the weekend with eight kills and one total block at SF State.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE:
Lenox Loving has recorded four double-doubles this season with a season high 23 kills against Academy of Art on Sept. 11.
Riley White has recorded one double-double in HSU's win at Cal State Dominguez Hills with a 16-assist, 13-dig performance.
TEAM LEADERS:
Hannah Cantrell leads the 'Jacks with her 47 total blocks and is second on the team with her 105 kills.
Lindsey McLaughlin leads HSU with her 129 kills while
Anna Hospodar is third with 101 kills. McLaughlin leads the 'Jacks with her 16 service and is second with her 42 total blocks.
Carla Crespo has a team high 238 digs and is second with her 14 service aces.
Riley Tishlarich leads HSU with her 227 assists and
Riley White is second with 172 assists.
CCAA LEADERS: The duo of
Hannah Cantrell and
Carla Crespo are in the top ten in the CCAA in four statistical categories. Cantrell is seventh her .90 blocks per set average while she is ninth with her 47 total blocks. Crespo leads the conference with her 4.58 digs per set and is seventh with her 238 total digs.

CHICO STATE: The Wildcats are 8-14 overall and 4-10 in the CCAA. Kim Wright leads the way for Chico State with her 360 kills, 85 total blocks and 39 service aces while Brooke Fogel has a team high 360 assists. Brooke Ono leads Chico with her 1094 assists. Chico State defeated the 'Jacks in three on September 25 in Arcata to take a 26-4 lead in the all-time series.
Katie Nall and
Lindsey McLaughlin each had six kills to lead HSU and
Carla Crespo had 13 assists. Lizzie Wilson had 13 kills for Chico State while Brooke Ono had 29 assists and Makaela Keeve had 10 digs.
STANISLAUS STATE: The Warriors are 11-11 overall and 7-7 in the CCAA. Yisel Perez has a team leading 170 kills while Chelsey Berry has 281 digs. Haley Burdo leads the Warriors with her 496 assists and 39 aces while Kiara Erving has a team high 79 blocks. Stanislaus State defeated the 'Jacks in three in Arcata on September 24 behind Mya Marshall and Ellison Weaver each with 11 kills. The Warriors lead the all-time series with HSU 18-11. The last 'Jack victory over Stanislaus State was a four-set win in Arcata on September 23, 2016.
UP NEXT: HSU will finish off its regular season with a pair of matches at home on November 11 and 13. The 'Jacks will host Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday, November 11 at 5pm. They will have their regular season home finale on Saturday, November 13 at 3pm, when the Lumberjacks host Cal State Los Angeles on Senior Day.
