ARCATA, Calif--- Humboldt State's volleyball team will conclude its four-match homestand this weekend with a pair of conference games against San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay. The Lumberjacks will entertain the San Francisco State Gators this Thursday, September 30 at 7pm. HSU will host the Cal State Monterey Bay Otters this Saturday, October 2 at 5pm. Both matches will take place in Lumberjack Arena on the campus of Humboldt State University.

RECAP OF THIS PAST WEEKEND: Humboldt State had its home opener this past Friday against Stanislaus State and lost in three sets (13-25, 14-25, 24-26) to the Warriors.
Hannah Cantrell and
Nora Thompson led the way for the 'Jacks with their six kills while Cantrell added two total blocks.
Lindsey McLaughlin and Kaitlyn Patters each had two service aces while McLaughlin added two total blocks. HSU hosted Chico State on Saturday and fell in three to the Wildcats (23-25, 16-25, 18-25).
Katie Nall and
Lindsey McLaughlin each had a team high six kills while McLaughlin added two service aces and three total blocks.
DOUBLE-DOUBLE: Lenox Loving has recorded four double-doubles this season with a season high 23 kills against Academy of Art on Sept. 11.
Riley White has recorded one double-double in HSU's win at Cal State Dominguez Hills with a 16-assist, 13-dig performance.

Carla Crespo has a team leading 142 digs. Leading the way with her 162 assists is

Riley White with 117. McLaughlin leads HSU with her 29 total blocks followed by
Hannah Cantrell's 23. HSU has two players with double digits in service aces in McLaughlin (14) and Crespo (11).
CCAA LEADERS: Lindsey McLaughlin and
Carla Crespo each are in the top 10 in the CCAA in four statistical categories. McLaughlin is seventh in blocks, eighth in service aces and tenth in hitting percentage. Crespo leads the CCAA with her digs per set average.

SAN FRANCISCO STATE: The Gators are 10-1 overall and 3-1 in the CCAA heading into their match with the 'Jacks on Thursday. Kimberly DeBoer leads the way for the Gators with her .438 hitting percentage while Jaynie Haynie has a team high 134 kills. Payton Jensen has a team high 21 service aces and 223 assists while Chloe Henning has a team leading 40 total blocks. Brianna DeBoer leads SF State with her 181 digs.
SF State leads the 17-8 with the Gators winning the last six meetings in a row including all three in 2019. SF State won in four in September in San Francisco, four in Arcata in October and three in November in San Francisco. The last HSU win was a four-set win in 2017 in Arcata.
CAL STATE MONTEREY BAY: The Otters are 7-3 overall and 1-3 in the CCAA entering their Thursday match at Sonoma State. Abby Knapp leads the Seawolves with her 26 total blocks and 123 kills while Sophia Torres has a team leading 254 assists. Kyle Honberger leads CSUMB with her 16 service aces while Sam Chavez has a team leading 129 digs.
The Otters lead the all-time series with the 'Jacks 17-10 with the teams splitting their season series in 2019. HSU won in four in Arcata in September behind
Lenox Loving's 15 kills, 12 digs and
Riley Tishlarich's 43 assists. HSU lost to the Otters in five in November.
