ARCATA, Calif--- The Humboldt State women's soccer team will finish off its three-match homestand this weekend with a pair of CCAA games this Friday and Sunday at College Creek Field. The 'Jacks will entertain Cal State San Marcos this Friday, October 1 at 3 pm and Cal State San Bernardino on Sunday, October 3 at 2 pm.
COACHING STAFF: Coach
Grant Landy will begin his second season at the helm of the Lumberjack women's soccer program after coaching for 23 years at Concordia University-Portland. During his career, Landy has compiled a 392-86-40 record for a .797 winning percentage. He will be assisted by Lumberjack Alum
Taylor McMillin, who is in her fourth season as the top assistant for the women's soccer team.

RECAP OF LAST WEEKEND: Humboldt State played to a 1-1 double overtime tie with West Region #5 Chico State this past Saturday. The Wildcats were leading 1-0 until the 88th minute when
Clara Lenihan connected on the game-tying goal off a ball from
Baylee Groom.
Alexis Aguilar posted a season-high eight saves in goal for the 'Jacks.
LEADERS: Kendal Spencer and
Clara Lenihan each have scored a team-leading three goals and each have added an assist for seven points to lead the way for HSU.
Kelsey Bess and
Baylee Groom lead the 'Jacks with their two assists while Spencer has two game-winning goals.
Alexis Aguilar has a 0.55 goals against average with 28 saves and two shutouts. She has posted a 0.875 saves percentage.

Alexis Aguilar is second in saves, tied for second in saves percentage while she is third in goals against average and tied for fourth in shutouts.
CAL STATE SAN MARCOS: The Cougars are 4-0 after defeating Cal State San Bernardino 2-0 this past weekend. Hunter Arcala and Chloe King each lead their team with their two goals for four points while Sierra Moore has a team-high two assists. Allison Marcure has posted a 0.24 goals against average with 12 saves and a .923 saves percentage and three shutouts.
The series is at 2-2-1 between the 'Jacks and the Cougars. HSU won 2-1 in San Marcos in 2019.
CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO: The Coyotes are 2-4 and have lost three straight matches including a 2-0 loss to Cal State San Marcos last weekend. Vidalia Abarca leads the team with two goals and one assist for five points. Abarca and Sarah Savella each have one assist. Carly Luna leads the team with her 1.50 goals against average and 41 saves and a .820 saves percentage. She has one shutout in goal for CSUSB in a 1-0 win at Cal State Los Angeles.
Cal State San Bernardino leads the all-time series with HSU 11-3 including winning the meeting in 2019 in San Bernardino, 3-2 in overtime. HSU last defeated the Coyotes in 2016, a 3-2 win in Arcata.
