EUGENE, Ore. — The Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks showed up in full force this weekend as the team recorded numerous personal bests and top performances at the Oregon Preview on Saturday at historic Hayward Field.
"It was such an amazing day in Oregon," head coach Sarah Ingram said. "Athletes competed well and we finally got some favorable weather conditions. We had PR's across almost all events and some event winners, which is pretty exciting on this kind of big stage. These facilities are beautiful and our athletes fed off of the energy of competing in such a special stadium."
For the women, Joy Hano ran a lifetime best in the 100m hurdles (14.30 seconds) en route to a first place finish. She followed that up with a sixth place finish in the 200m (25.34).
