WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- On Sunday, Cal Poly Humboldt women's rowing rounded out their busy weekend in Sacramento with races at the Davis Invite that featured UC Davis and Orange Coast College. Although no offical times were kept for this exhibition regatta, the 'Jacks raced their V8, V4, and N8 boats.
"Our V8, V4, and Novice 8 won their events over UC Davis and OCC," said head coach Matt Weise. "I feel like the team made good improvements over their racing from Saturday. Their speed was more steady down the race course and this should continue to improve as their boat rhythm improves."
Humboldt will return to the North Coast and enjoy their "Spring Break" on the water as they prepare for the start of Division II competition on Saturday, March 23. The 'Jacks will head to
LW. Ship Canal in Seattle, Washington for the Falcon Regatta that is hosted by Seattle Pacific.
