ARCATA, Calif. — Cal Poly Humboldt is excited to announce the 2024-25 season schedule for the Lumberjacks men's wrestling team, featuring a diverse mix of dual meets, invitational tournaments, and championship events. This season marks a significant step forward in the resurgence of the wrestling program, with a special highlight being the team's lone home dual against Simpson University on January 10 at 6:00 PM. The Lumberjacks invite all community members to come out and show their support inside Lumberjack Arena as they bring exciting wrestling action back to Arcata.

Season Details

The season begins on November 1 with a dual meet against Menlo College in Atherton, California, followed by the Menlo Invite on November 2 at the same venue. The Lumberjacks will face strong competition throughout the season, including the Roadrunner Open in Bakersfield, duals against Southern Oregon University, Corban University, and multiple events in January and February, including a trip to Colorado, leading up to postseason action.

After a series of away matches, Cal Poly Humboldt will return home to host Simpson University on January 10 at Lumberjack Arena. This event provides a unique opportunity for the community to rally behind the team, celebrate the program's growth, and enjoy a thrilling night of collegiate wrestling.

The Lumberjacks will also compete in notable events such as the MPSF Wrestling Championships on January 26 and the NCAA Super Region VI Championships on March 1, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the NCAA Division II Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 14-15.
