The Lumberjacks finished fifth overall out of 14 teams, scoring 125 points. Junior Jacob Christopher led Humboldt with a 14th-place finish in 25:20.7. Junior Elias Wiggins followed closely in 24th at 25:48.9, while freshman Spencer Borin finished 31st in 25:58.9. Humboldt faced strong competition from Chico State, Azusa Pacific, and CUI, with Chico State ultimately taking the team title. The Jacks demonstrated depth and resilience throughout the pack, with several athletes finishing tightly together in the middle of the race.
"Our team ran well today, and it was exciting to see the depth of our roster shine against a fast field," said head coach Scott Pesch. "Jacob and Elias had standout performances, but the consistent effort from our scoring five shows we're progressing as a team toward the CCAA Championships."
Our coaches are very proud of this team," said head coach Scott Pesch. "It was great to see Jacob [Christopher] lead his team to fifth place amongst 14 teams."
