ARCATA – Entering this week with a four-game losing streak, the Humboldt State women's soccer team will hope home cooking puts an end to its recent struggles. The Jacks will host Cal Poly Pomona at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Sunday sees Cal State San Bernardino come to town with kickoff scheduled for 11:30 a.m. in Redwood Bowl.
Head-to-Head: Humboldt State holds a 2-4-0 all-time record against both Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino, with the Jacks losing 1-0 to both teams last season.
Cumbo's Comments: "At this point, we need to look at the big picture,” said Humboldt State head women's soccer coach Andy Cumbo. “We have come a long way from where we were last season and we need to continue to be focused on getting better each game.”
