SNAP ANOTHER STREAK

Another week and another streak snapped. HSU ended another losing streak last Friday by upsetting then CCAA-leading Cal State Los Angeles, 3-2. After being down by a set, the Jacks stormed back to win the next three sets to pull off the upset.

The HSU victory was the program's first win in the Eagles Nest in 10 matches.

SEEKS TO SURPASS LAST YEAR'S WIN TOTAL

After sweeping the two matches last weekend, HSU seeks to surpass last year's 12-win total this week.

The Jacks improved by nine wins last season to a 12-17 record.

The team holds an 11-4 mark after 15 matches this season. HSU will try to tie last year's win total on Thursday against Cal State East Bay with hopes of surpassing its 2013 total Saturday versus Cal State Monterey Bay.

With their 11 victories, the Jacks succeeded in recording their first back-to-back 10-plus win seasons since the 1999 (15-11) and 1998 (10-16) teams.

SET CCAA WIN TOTAL

With the win on Saturday night at Cal State Dominguez Hills, the Jacks set their new CCAA season win total to eight. HSU improved to 8-3 in the league, their highest total since joining the conference in 2006.

She was also the only double figure kill producer against Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday night with 10 kills. The sophomore had a .350 attack percentage and was part of two HSU blocks in the win.

Hayden has 158 kills, second on the team, and averages 2.63 kills per set on the year.

DUNAWAY ALL-AROUND GAME

Kaitlyn Dunaway is one of HSU'a all-around players. She was second in kills, digs and aces last season.

Even with more offensive weapons this year, the junior continues to put up solid offensive and defensive numbers.

Dunaway is fourth in the CCAA with 19 aces, second on the team. She is also in the team's top three for kills (125) and digs (153).
