ARCATA, Calif. - Humboldt State women's soccer looks to close its College Creek Field home match schedule this weekend on a high note.
The Lumberjacks host a pair of southern California teams of the California Collegiate Athletic Association. HSU will host Cal Poly Pomona Friday afternoon (12:30 p.m.), before UC San Diego comes to the North Coast for a 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning match.

FIVE TO BE HONORED ON 'SENIOR DAY'
Before Sunday's match, HSU will honor its five senior players for 'Senior Day.' The Jacks' seniors include Amber Woolcock, Maddi Null, Lizzie Mitchell, Emilia Stefanko and Colette Behen for the prematch ceremony.
PAIR OF TIES
In last year's meetings, HSU played well in its southern California road trip and produced a pair of ties as the result.
In La Jolla, HSU held UC San Diego scoreless, 0-0, in two overtimes. Two days later, the Jacks played to a second tie, 1-1, against the Broncos in Pomona.

HSU continues to take more shots on the year than its opponents even though its shots have not been resulting in goals.
The Jacks hold a 180-175 shot advantage and an 83-77 shots on goal total.
