SET FOR MOST WINS IN FOUR YEARS

HSU can count its first item off its 2014 improvements list by surpassing last year's wins on Thursday afternoon.

After starting a similar 3-1 start last year, the Jacks can surpass not only last season's three-win total, but also the equal the 2010 mark of 4-13-1.

WARRIOR CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS, BEHEN MVP

HSU ran its winning streak to three matches and claimed the Cal State Stanislaus Warrior Challenge title. The Jacks earned the championship over the host Warriors on goal differential.

The HSU awards did not stop with the team championship. Colette Behen earned the Golden Ball Award as the Warrior Classic MVP, while Maddi Null was named the Golden Boot Award winner as the leading goal scorer.

Behen made her mark in both HSU matches to earn the award. The Petaluma, Calif., senior assisted on the first score and scored the second goal against Academy of Art.  The midfielder added an assist on Saturday's first goal and netted the third and game-winner.

Null produced a pair of goals and assists in her performances. The forward had the game-winner with Friday's first goal and assisted on the second score. The Edmonds, Wash., native recorded an assist on the opening score and netted the second goal versus Simon Fraser.

HSU's Lizzie Mitchell and Taylor McMillin were also honored with All-Tournament team status.
